Assailant stabs, wounds haredi man in Petah Tikva

A man sprung upon a group of ultra-Orthodox men Sunday and stabbed one walking on Jabotinsky Street in Petah Tikva next the Geha interchange, police said. The assailant then fled the scene on foot.

The victim was moderately wounded and evacuated to Beilinson Hsopital in Petah Tikva. Police were combing the area for the suspect, and said the motives behind the attack were so far unclear.
