Condition of Shimon Peres listed as stable; Doctors to reduce sedation

Sheba Medical Center doctors said Sunday that former president Shimon Peres is still in serious but stable condition after suffering a severe hemorrhagic stroke on Tuesday.

The doctors decided to gradually reduce the sedation of Peres and at the same time try to wean him gradually from his respirator.

Doctors are continuing to carry out neurological and respiratory assessments.
