The meeting comes less than one month after Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met with Cuba's current President Raul Castro in Havana to boost trade after the removal in January of international sanctions against the Islamic Republic.
The international community lifted sanctions on Iran as part of the deal under which Tehran curbed its nuclear program.
