Finance Minister Kahlon: I respect parole board's decision on Katsav

Finance Minister Moshe Kahalon on Wednesday said he respected the decision of an Israel Prisons Service parole board to deny former president Moshe Katsav early parole for his seven-year prison sentence.

Speaking at the Israel Bar Association's annual conference in Eilat, Kahlon refrained from expressing his personal view of the decision.

"If the board decides, I respect their decision," he said. "There are parameters, if they followed the parameters, ok."
