Head of Hamas’s political wing says group will not compromise on its demands

Former Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said on Tuesday that the Palestinian delegation in Cairo was sticking to its demands and would not compromise on them.

Haniyeh said in a statement that Israel would not be able to make political gains following its “failure” in the battlefield.
