A man was wounded in a stabbing attack Thursday morning, in the predominantly Arab east Jerusalem neighborhood of Shuafat.

Magen David Adom said the victim, in his mid-twenties, suffered multiple stab wounds to the upper body and was evacuated in moderate condition to Hadassah University Medical Center, Jerusalem.

Israel Police said the incident occurred between two Arab men, and that it was not terror related but rather the escalation of a private conflict.
