MKs to discuss budget cuts to cover cost of Gaza operation

Israeli government leaders will meet Sunday to discuss a possible budget cut due to Operation Protective Edge, Israel Radio reported.

There are talks of cutting the budgets of all government agencies by two percent. The Defense Ministry would be exempt from these cuts.

Among the cuts that would be made according to this plan, around NIS 500m. would be cut from the Education budget and over NIS 40m. worth of cuts would be made to the Health budget.
