Israel's unilateral humanitarian cease-fire set to last until 5 p.m. takes effect
A seven-hour humanitarian cease-fire declared unilaterally by Israel went into effect at 10 a.m. Hamas said it would not hold its fire as Israel halted fighting in most of the Gaza Strip to allow for the entry of humanitarian aid and for displaced Palestinians to return to their homes.
