A man was struck and killed by a train in Tel Aviv on Tuesday, after apparently jumping from an overhead walkway.

Tel Aviv police said around 10:30am they received a call that a man had been hit by a train after landing on the tracks next to the Hagana station in south Tel Aviv.

Investigators shut down the site and opened an investigation, ruling soon after that there was no suspicion of foul play in the death of the 24-year-old man.
