Meretz MK: Settlement labeling allows Europeans to buy Israeli products without funding occupation

Meretz MK Esawi Frej on Wednesday praised the European Union decision to publish guidelines to allow for consumer labels on imports produced over the Green Line.
Frej said that it was "the right decision that will allow the whole Israeli economy to rid itself of the painful baggage that is the settlements."
The Meretz MK said that the decision would allow European consumers that do not want to boycott Israel to avoid "funding the occupation."
