Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's 19-year-old son Avner took the ALS Ice Bucket challenge and then challenged his father to take the challenge himself, giving him a week to do so.

When asked whether the prime minister would take the plunge, Netanyahu's spokesman said "no comment."

Yesh Atid's Dov Lipman was the first MK to take the challenge. He has since been joined by several MKs, including Labor faction chairman Eitan Cabel and Yesh Atid faction chairman Ofer Shelach.
