Police: Man stabbed in northern Israel town in non-terror related offense

A 23-year-old man was rushed to the hospital after being stabbed by an assailant in the northern town of Kalansawa, according to Israel Police.

Police have opened an investigation into the incident and are searching the area for suspects.

The event appears to be criminal in nature and not terror related, police added.
