Police catch non-MD suspected of giving aesthetic injections without license

A woman from Rishon Lezion who is suspected by the authorities of posing as a physician and performing aesthetic treatments including Botox injections has been tracked down by a joint Health Ministry and Israel Police team.

The woman, named Luba (Lobov) Puchinsky owns the “Sham Medical Clinic” at 24 Rehov Negba in Rishon Zion, the ministry said on Wednesday night. She allegedly presented a counterfeit medical license before giving the treatments.

When they searched her clinic, they found the bogus license, the ministry added, and filed a police complaint.

The ministry warns the public against getting aesthetic injections by people who have not been authenticated as licensed MDs.
Licensed MDs are listed on the ministry's website at www.old.health.gov.il/oskimbbriut/rufim/index.asp.
