Police in standoff with armed man at Orlando airport - media

Police were in a standoff with an armed man at Orlando International Airport on Tuesday but there have been no indications of shots being fired or anyone being injured, local news reports said.



The Orlando Sentinel newspaper quoted an airport spokesman as saying an armed man was on the first floor of the airport in the rental car area and law enforcement officers were on scene.

Airport officials were not immediately available for comment.
