Police interrogate extremist activist ahead of Jerusalem pride parade

Jerusalem police raided the home of a far-right activist from the extremist group Lahava and detained him for questioning on Thursday ahead of Jerusalem's LGBT pride parade.

According to police, the detained activists was known to authorities for his opposition to the march and has previously published malevolent posts about the matter to Facebook.

In recent weeks, the suspect has petitioned resident of various cities across the country not attend marches in support of LGBT rights.
