President Rivlin and Prime Minister Netanyahu lay wreath beside Peres coffin

President Reuven Rivlin and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu each laid a wreath Thursday beside Shimon Peres's coffin at a memorial outside the Knesst.

Peres’s body will lie in state from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and tens of thousands of Israelis, in addition to politicians and foreign dignitaries, as well as Jewish and Arab youth participating in Peres Center for Peace programs, are expected to attend.
