After reports that the suspect in Berlin's Christmas market attack earlier this week was in Berlin, and a possible sighting reported in Copenhagen, Denmark, reports emerging on Friday morning indicate that Tunisian national Anis Amri has been shot dead by Italian security sources in a shootout in Milan.

A press conference is set to be held by the Italian interior minister at 11:45.
