Report: Israeli envoy to UN confirms vote on Israeli settlement postponed

Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon reportedly confirmed that a Security Council vote originally slated for Thursday on a draft resolution demanding an end to Israeli settlements has been postponed, according to CNN.

Meanwhile, a western diplomatic source said that the motion was postponed "potentially indefinitely.

Earlier, a western diplomat told Reuters that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi had instructed Egypt's UN mission to postpone the vote.
