Rivlin inauguration to be moved up to before Nine Days

President-elect Reuven Rivlin's inauguration will be moved up to not coincide with the traditional nine days of mourning before the Tisha B'Av fast.
MK Eli Yishai (Shas) pointed out to Rivlin on Thursday that the swearing-in, which was scheduled for the end of July, is during a time when observant Jews are not supposed to attend celebrations.
Rivlin thanked Yishai for calling the problem to his attention and promised to make sure the inauguration held earlier.
A new date has yet to be set.
