Cease-fire ends, Gazan rocket fire resumes

August 8, 2014 08:33

Rockets were fired from Gaza at Ashkelon and Kerem Shalom near the Gaza Strip at 8:00 Friday morning exactly as a 72-hour cease-fire expired.

No agreement was reached on an extension of the truce and reports claimed that Hamas had refused to extend the cease-fire if its demands were not immediately met.

Initial reports did not indicate any damages or injuries.
