Secretary Kerry to hold talks on Islamic State in London

US Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to London on Thursday to hold talks with members of the coalition against Islamic State, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said Sunday.
Consultations "with the United Kingdom and other...coalition partners" will focus on "our shared efforts to degrade and defeat ISIL," a statement released by the State Department said.
Kerry will also meet with his counterpart, British Foreign Minister Philip Hammond before heading to Davos, Switzerland, where he will take part in the World Economic Forum. He is scheduled to speak at the event on Friday.
