Security cabinet unanimously approves new settlement, first time in 20 years

The Security Cabinet unanimously approved the establishment of a new settlement for the evacuees of the Amona outpost,according to a statement released by The Prime Minister's Office Thursday evening.

The establishment of the new settlement is the first of its kind in 20 years. 

The new settlement is slated for 2000 housing units across 900 dunams of land in the Shilo Valley region of the West Bank.
