Security forces arrested a Palestinian suspected of carrying out the stabbing attack in Ariel Junction, a few hours after the attack that left an Israeli man seriously injured.

The Shin Bet named the suspect as 26-year-old Tamer Khadir, a resident of the village of Beita, near Nablus in the West Bank. He has no known prior security offenses.

The suspect "linked himself to the incident" during the initial interrogation carried out on the ground, the Shin Bet said.
