Shahar Peer draws tough Round 1 opponent at Roland Garros

Israeli tennis star Shahar Peer ranked 136 in the world will face world ranked  number 4 Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland in the Roland Garros French Open this week.

Andy Ram and Yoni Erlich will represent Israel in the Men's doubles competition of the tournament.

Julia Glushko ranked 150th in the world was another Israeli attempting to join Peer in the main singles ladies draw. Glusko made it to the third round of the qualifying tournament and was fighting on Friday to break through to the main draw.
