Stabbing attack thwarted at West Bank crossing

A stabbing attack was thwarted at the Eliyahu crossing into Israel from the West Bank on Monday morning. 

According to the Defense Ministry, a female terrorist arrived to the crossing on Highway 55 in Samaria holding a knife.

Security at the crossing told the woman to halt a number of times but when she continued to approach they opened fire and wounded her. The suspect's condition was unknown and no Israelis were injured in the attack.
