Trump says Ilhan Omar should resign for making antisemitic comments

US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday he believed Democratic lawmaker Ilhan Omar should resign after her comments about the pro-Israel lobby in the United States.

"Antisemitism has no place in the United States Congress," Trump told reporters at the White House. Omar was criticized by both Republicans and Democrats for saying on Twitter that the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, a pro-Israel lobbying group, was paying US politicians to support Israel.
