Trump says decided against leaving NAFTA after calls from Canada, Mexico

WASHINGTON  - President Donald Trump on Thursday said he decided against terminating the NAFTA treaty after the leaders of Mexico and Canada called him and asked him to work on a new trade between the three countries.
"Rather than terminating NAFTA, which would be a pretty big shock to the system, we will renegotiate," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. "If I'm unable to make a fair deal for the United States ... I will terminate NAFTA."
