Two Palestinians were caught by Israeli security forces while attempting to cross a northern section of the Gaza border fence on Sunday, according to an IDF spokesperson.

The two were unarmed and were immediately apprehended for further investigation.

The arrest came just hours after the IAF struck targets in Gaza, injuring an alleged member of the Islamic Jihad and a 12-year-old boy.
