A UN investigation into genocide of the Yazidi minority in Syria and Iraq has detailed information about the crimes committed by Islamic State fighters, including the names of suspects, one of the investigators said on Thursday.

"We do have detailed information on places, violations and names of the perpetrators," Vitit Muntarbhorn, a member of the commission of inquiry, told a news conference. The team had also begun sharing confidential information with some national authorities, who were prosecuting foreign fighters, he added.
