US VP Pence thanks Netanyahu for support after US strike on Syria

US Vice President Mike Pence reached out to thank Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his steadfast support after American carried out an air strike against Syria.

According to a statement released by the Prime Minister's Office Friday, Pence also updated the premier on details of the attack's aftermath.

In return, Netanyahu reiterated the need to prevent the distribution and use of chemical weapons in region while emphasizing the importance of Israeli-US relations.
