A history of incidents at Tapuah Junction

Tuesday morning’s incident at the Tapuah Junction marks one of many deadly or near-deadly skirmishes that have occurred near this West Bank settlement.
Below is a list of some notable events that have transpired at the junction in the past.
January 23, 2013: A 17-yearold Israeli civilian was stabbed and moderately wounded. In a separate incident, Border Police apprehended three Palestinian men and found eight pipe bombs, a pistol and a knife when searching their car.
May 10, 2012: Security forces nabbed two men carrying firebombs and other explosive devices.
May 7, 2012: Security forces apprehended a 17- year-old Palestinian carrying pipe bombs.
April 21, 2012: Forces arrested two Palestinian teens with bombs and guns.
February 10, 2010: A Palestinian man stabbed an IDF warrant officer to death.
February 9, 2002: A woman was shot dead by a Palestinian gunman while driving with her son.
