American TV and radio broadcaster Larry King arrived in Israel on Tuesday for his first visit to the Jewish homeland in 20 years.
King, 81, comes as a special guest at the Holon Education Lottery. The lottery supervisor will attend a special session on the subject of the American Jewish education system, focusing on the changes taking place in recent years and their impact on Israeli-US relations.
In addition to Larry King's presence at the Education Lottery Forum,   Education Minister Naftali Bennett will also be in attendance to engage in an interactive dialogue with parents and students on the eve of the new school year.
President Reuven Rivlin will also attend the event, and will be hosting a discussion with writer A.B. Yehoshua.
King is famous for hosting the daily interview program Larry King Live for 25 years. He retired his program in 2010, and subsequently founded a production company. He continues to host programs on radio and on other news networks.
