Jewish Democrats rally for Hillary Clinton 2016 presidential bid

Clinton says she has not made a decision whether or not to run for president, but expects to announce her intentions after the midterm elections.

WASHINGTON – Prominent Jewish Democrats have formally launched an effort to mobilize fellow American Jews to support Hillary Clinton for president in 2016.
Joining the well-established Ready for Hillary Super PAC, a grassroots political action committee, the new subgroup seeks to “substantially increase the number” of American Jews encouraging the former secretary of state to run.
Clinton says she has not made a decision whether or not to run for president, but expects to announce her intentions after the midterm elections.
“We all wear many hats,” says Rachel Schneider, Jewish Americans Ready for Hillary’s director, who also serves as Young Americans Ready for Hillary’s director.
“Each of us engages in the political process in different ways. With the launch of Jewish Americans Ready for Hillary, we’re appealing to people who want Hillary to run and who identify as a Jewish American to join and to help recruit other Jews to join in this special effort.”
Steve Rabinowitz, a former White House press aide in the Bill Clinton administration, said Hillary Clinton already enjoys “overwhelming support” from the American Jewish community.
“We love her. It’s that simple,” Rabinowitz said. “We want her to be president. And now, we have one more way to show her that we want her to run.”
