President Reuven Rivlin and First Lady Nechama Rivlin sent a gift to Prince William and his wife Katherine in honor of the birth of Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.
The President and First Lady sent a letter of congratulations to Queen Elizabeth II and expressed their well wishes on behalf of the entire nation of Israel saying, "On behalf of ourselves and of the citizens of the State of Israel, please allow us to offer our congratulations and good wishes on the birth of Your Majesty's great-granddaughter, the new baby princess, to you and all the members of the royal family."
“We would also like, through your good offices, to convey a warm message of congratulations and good wishes to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their daughter, sister to Prince George and to wish them much joy health, and happiness.”
The gift included an Israeli made dress with the words "From Israel with love" superimposed on the front along with a gold broach with a charm of a heart and a 'Hamsa,' a symbol of success and blessing.
