Skrillex tops lineup for Dead Sea Rave

The -424 Dead Sea Rave returns to Masada on November 5 for a sunset to sunrise hedonistic showcase of electronic dance music featuring many of the biggest names in the global scene, reinforced by top local DJs.
Taking place at the lowest place on earth, at the foot of the spectacular Masada fortress in the Judean Desert, the 2015 Dead Sea Rave will feature EDM superstars Skrillex and Zedd.
Having sold more than 10 million singles worldwide, Sonny Moore, aka Skrillex is undoubtedly the biggest global artist to emerge from the American electronic scene in recent years. Also a music producer who first released his own music for free on MySpace, Skrillex has six Grammy Awards to his name, including Best Dance/Electronica Album for 2012’s Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites and Best Dance Recording for 2013’s Bangarang.
Born Anton Zaslavski, Zedd is a Russian-German music producer and DJ. He is well known for his work in the electro house music genre, but has worked with dubstep and classical music. He released his first album, Clarity, in 2012. He has worked with singers like Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga. Zedd was featured on the soundtrack for the 2014 film Divergent. He won a Grammy award for Best Dance Recording.
Previous years’ DJs have included huge international names including David Guetta, Dash Berlin, Sander Van Doorn, and Steve Angello.
