An Israeli man residing in Ohio was found in serious condition with bullet wounds to his mouth and leg, the Cleveland Plain Dealer daily paper reported Monday morning.
The 30-year-old victim, who remains in intensive care at a local hospital, was originally found in a Cleveland home driveway by a 60-year-old woman who was interested in renting the property.
Upon arriving to look at the property she saw the man, who was lying in a pool of blood and appeared unconscious.
The victim was eventually able to move his arm, using hand motions to signal to officers that he was shot.
The nature of the victim's wounds has left him otherwise unable to communicate with police.
No arrests have been announced in the case.
