Do Jewish tweens finally have a boy-band heartthrob to pine for? Maybe. It's unclear. One Direction member Harry Styles seems to have a lot of Jewish connections, but the jury is still out on whether he's a member of the tribe. A Jewish Chronicle profile examined the evidence: He wore a Star of David necklace earlier this month, he's had some very detailed tweets about Pessah and Purim customs, he has a tattoo of his sister Gemma's name in Hebrew, and was spotted at a kosher Chinese restaurant in London. The JC seems to think that he's not Jewish and just picked up some Yiddish from Gabriel Turner, a good friend of Styles' who produced One Direction: This is the US, a feature film that will be released next week.

As for celebrities that are definitely Jewish, Bar Refaeli tweeted a message for former Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters: “You should remove my picture from the video art at your concerts. If you’re boycotting - then go all the way.” The tweet came after Waters called for all musicians to boycott Israel. Waters recently came under fire for displaying an inflatable pig with a Jewish star on it at a concert.

On the other side of the Atlantic, Lena Dunham and the gang are back! Well, almost. There's a teaser trailer for Season 3 of "Girls," but it's definitely a tease. The clip is made up of Instagram pictures of the cast of the popular HBO show. The gang clearly goes to the beach and it looks like Hannah and Adam are back together. We'll know for sure when the show returns in 2014.
Plenty of actors would love to appear in a Woody Allen film, but a surprisingly large number of famous faces started their careers in his movies. Flavorwire put together a compilation of cameos and jokes by actors and comedians who were unknown then and are famous now, like Christopher Walken, Jeff Goldblum, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Larry David, Jennifer Garner and more. Superheroes, like Henry Cavill aka Superman, and supervillains, like Tom Hiddleston or Loki from Thor and The Avengers, also make appearances, as do a few cast members from HBO show "The Newsroom," like Allison Pill and John Gallagher Jr.
Melissa and Joan Rivers are a very close mother-daughter team, working together first as red carpet fashion commentators, then on a reality show about their lives, and now on a dating show cleverly called "Romancing the Joan." Melissa will host an eight-part online spoof of "The Bachelorette," in which the 80-year-old comedian will choose between eight men vying for her heart on a show premiering in September.

Mark your calendars and cancel your Chrismukkah plans, because this year we have "Chanugiving." Or something like that. Thanksgiving and Chanukkah coincide this year for the only time in our lifetime, and Anthony Weintraub created a kickstarter in honor of the festive occasion. Weintraub's nine-year-old son invented the "Menurkey." That's right, menorah plus turkey. All he needs are $25,000 to get the project going.
