Riding on the success Yeshiva University student group the Maccabeats has enjoyed over the past couple of years, four of its members have broken away to form another a cappella group and released a new parody in time for Hanukka.
The four, known as StandFour, recently released an a cappella Hanukkah mashup called "Eight Nights."
The parody is influenced by One Direction’s “Live While We’re Young,” Kesha’s “Die Young,”  and Fun’s “Some Nights.”
The Maccabeats rose to fame two years ago when their YouTube hit “Candlelight" went viral. The all-male group transformed Mike Tompkins’ a cappella cover of Taio Cruz’s hit song “Dynamite” into an irrepressibly catchy and entertaining Hanukka parody.
