An eye for an eye: Iran's Supreme Court orders removal of man's eye

Man claims he unintentionally blinded other man in street fight.

Iran's Supreme Court has reportedly ordered removing the eye of a man who was accused of blinding another man during a street fight, according to the NGO Iran Human Rights.  
The date of implementation of the sentence on the 28-year-old man, only identified as Saman, has not been announced. 
Iranian daily newspaper Shahrvand reported that Saman was 23-years-old during the fight with a 25-year-old. Saman claimed he unintentionally blinded the other man with a metal rod.
