New Zealand singer and songwriter Lorde will be hitting the stage in Tel Aviv next summer, bringing her unique brand of pop to thousands of Israeli fans.
The singer, whose real name is Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor, is best known for her international hits, including “Royals,” “Team” and “Yellow Flicker Beat.”
The 21-year-old will be coming to Israel as a stop on her Melodrama tour, her second studio album after 2013’s Pure Heroine.
The concert will be held on June 5 at the Tel Aviv Convention Center. Tickets went on sale Monday; the first 3,000 were set to go for NIS 289 and the remainder for NIS 329.
In May, British newcomer Rag ‘N’ Bone Man will be playing a concert at the Menora Mivtachim Arena in Tel Aviv.
Rock band Foreigner will also be at that venue in May, playing one show on May 5. And former Beatle Ringo Starr will hit the very same stage just a month later, on June 23 and 24.
