The IDF and Border Police will launch multiple operations throughout the West Bank beginning Wednesday night, according to Army Radio. 

The goal, per the IDF announcement, is to arrest and interrogate dozens of individuals wanted for terrorism and incitement to terror, with a particular emphasis on those who have expressed support for the October 7 Massacre. 

The IDF made this statement on the third anniversary of the massacre.

IDF launches mission to destroy memorials, monuments that 'glorify terror'

Similarly, on Tuesday evening, the IDF launched a large-scale operation in the West Bank, the goal of which is to demolish memorials throughout the region that "glorify terror," according to Israeli news outlets citing an IDF statement.

The IDF reportedly issued leaflets to Palestinian West Bank residents warning them of the upcoming operation, saying that "Anyone who glorifies terrorism or supports it will be arrested on charges of incitement, and any memorial erected to honor terrorists will be demolished."

"Terrorism has brought, and will bring, nothing but destruction and devastation, just as Hamas has brought devastation upon the Gaza Strip for years," the IDF notice added.

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and MK Zvi Sukkot issued a joint statement supporting the initiative on Wednesday.

“The State of Israel is uprooting the infrastructure of incitement to terrorism,” they said.
