A two-year-old girl was lightly wounded by broken glass on Wednesday night when rock-throwers attacked the car in which she was riding on Route 45, between the Atarot junction and the Benzion interchange, Jerusalem Police said.
The car’s driver was lightly hurt in the shoulder and required no medical treatment.
The stone-throwers damaged two cars.
Police and IDF troops began combing the area for the assailants after the attack, but there were no reports of arrests.
The West Bank highway has been the site of multiple terrorist attacks over the last few weeks – including this past Saturday, when an attacker stabbed and lightly wounded a soldier before security forces neutralized the perpetrator.
