Austrialian rockers Dead Daisies, who wowed Tel Aviv in concert last December, is continuing to show love to Israeli fans. The band – featuring members of INXS and Guns & Roses, is releasing the first single from their new EP of the same name, “Face I Love,” with footage shot at Tel Aviv’s Barby Club. It will also feature an interactive Facebook app that will let Israeli fans add something of their own by uploading pictures to social media as part of the single’s art.

The brainchild of veteran Aussie rockers Jon Stevens of INXS and David Lowy who formed the band in 2012, the current incarnation of Dead Daisies includes Guns & Roses guitarist Richard Fortus on lead guitar, Marco Mendoz on bass, G&R’s Dizzy Reed on keyboards and Brian Tichy on drums. The video uses clips of the band’s December show in Tel Aviv with footage of Israelis rocking out to the show.

“It’s not every day you get to play in Israel. It was our first time there, being in Tel Aviv and shooting some footage. It was a different experience,” Stevens told The Post.

Stevens is not only excited about the single, but about returning with fellow band mates to Israel for another round of shows. In addition, the group loved Israel so much that according to Stevens it will be the first place where the single will be released. “We’ll be returning to Israel towards the end of this year to do some more shows. The single is coming out and we’re releasing an app with it.”

The “Face I Love” app will launch on the band’s Facebook page on June 24, when people can start submitting pictures and contribute to the mosaic with faces of the fan base that Dead Daisies loves so much.

“We’re definitely coming back to Israel and hopefully this time we’ll stay a bit longer,” said Stevens. The band will be heading back out on the road in America next month with Bad Company and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
