American actor Ashton Kutcher will be returning to Israel next week, combining a private visit with some semipublic appearances.
The Two and a Half Men star, who replaced Charlie Sheen in 2011, will be speaking Monday night at the “Meet the industry leaders” event hosted by GarageGeeks in Holon, together with Guy Oseary, his partner-in-technology.
Founded by famed entrepreneur Yossi Vardi, GarargeGeeks is a brainstorming center for software, electronics and gaming developers.
The actor will address the gathering along with Oseary, Madonna’s Israeli-born manager.
Kutcher and Oseary are partners in A-Grade, a venture capital firm that has made numerous investments in companies such as Airbnb and Spotify.
Following the business side of his trip, Kutcher is going to spend part of Shavuot at the Kabbala Center in Tel Aviv, according to a representative of the center. Kutcher and his ex-wife Demi Moore are both Kabbala students and, with Madonna, have previously attended services at the center in Tel Aviv.
Media reports have intimated that Kutcher’s current girlfriend, actress Mila Kunis, will be accompanying him on the trip. Kunis and Kutcher played a couple in the Fox television network comedy The 70s Show, a role which became a self-fulfilling prophecy last year.
