What do you get when you mix an Israeli pastry chef who won a reality TV show in the US and his American husband who recently moved to Israel with him? The answer is Christopher's, a very charming cosy cafe in the heart of Jaffa's flea market.After winning the popular reality show "Sweet Genius," working with some of the top chefs in the US, and travelling around the world for various exclusive cooking events, it would have been fitting for Amos Hayon to open a top scale restaurant or upmarket cake shop upon his return to Israel. Instead, the very humble and talented pastry chef decided to open the relaxed and informal Christopher's.Amos runs the coffee shop with his life partner Christopher, after whom the coffee shop is named.
