Gideon Goren is a breaking news editor at the Jerusalem Post. Born and raised in New York, after obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Political Science at Connecticut College, he enlisted in the IDF. Upon finishing his service, he completed a Master's degree in Counter-Terrorism and Security Studies at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya.
Gideon has a special interest in Middle Eastern geopolitics and in extremist ideologies propelling conflicts throughout the region.
