Faye Levy is a food columnist, cookbook author and cooking teacher. She has lived on three continents and has written 23 cookbooks in English, French and Hebrew, including five on Jewish cooking. Her latest cookbooks are Healthy Cooking for the Jewish Home, Feast from the Mideast, 1,000 Jewish Recipes and Jewish Cooking for Dummies.

Faye has been a columnist of The Jerusalem Post for over 20 years. In her cooking classes, Faye teaches classic, contemporary and innovative cuisine, from French to Middle Eastern. Her dishes have been featured on the covers of Gourmet and Bon Appetit magazines.

Faye started her culinary career working as the assistant of Israeli cookbook author Ruth Sirkis. She obtained professional chef’s training during six years at Ecole de Cuisine La Varenne in Paris. With her husband and writing partner Yakir Levy, Faye enjoys expanding her culinary knowledge at every opportunity, whether around town or across the globe.
