So when I believe everything about what the God of Israel has written about this holy nation, it means this: I will forever stand with the Nation that God created: I Kings 8:53: " For you singled them out from all the nations of the world to be your own inheritance, just as you declared through your servant Moses when you, Sovereign LORD brought our ancestors out of Egypt.”
Israel is, whether you like it or not, a miracle… That fact that this tiny nation is thriving today is an exciting miracle in 2015. Since the creation of this nation, her enemies have been trying to wipe this nation off the map. This list includes the Egyptians, The Assyrians, the Babylonian, the Romans, the Russians, the Nazis and the Arabs, just to mention a few. But Israel has prevailed and is stronger and mightier than ever.The reason and for the birth of the Jewish people and her history is documented in the Bible, you can read about a lot of Israel’s miracles: The sun stood still so Joshua could finishing fighting a victorious battle, the parting of the Red Sea, David defeating the seemingly superhuman person that was Goliath, the miracle at Michmash, when Jonathan and his armor bearer defeated an entire army of Philistines, the story of Queen Esther, that brought salvation of the Jewish people from a devised plot of genocide, Daniel unharmed in a den of lions, and his 3 Hebrew friends from the fiery furnace, just to mention a few.God has been proven Himself faithful to his people, and with the Jewish people of Europe coming out of the ashes of the Holocaust, the nation of Israel was re-born in one day on 14 May, 1948 as the people of the Book were once again gathered as a nation.This small nation was attacked the next day by five Arab nations that thought they would eliminate the Jewish nation on one day of focused destruction, but they didn't realize that Israel was not fighting alone, because the God of Israel was with them. Despite Jordan occupying part of Israel’s land, Israel won that war like they have won every other war they have been in since, something that has been a miracle every time single time.I have watched or listened to testimonies from soldiers who fought in the IDF, and how they were facing situations where they were outnumbered and everything look liked it was over for them… But all of a sudden, their enemies would turn around and run away!Later on, when some of these opposing soldiers were questioned what made they give up, this was their reply: on several occasions, Arab soldiers would respond by saying: “we saw Abraham standing behind you!!”Even during the Gaza war this past summer, we all read about how one missile slipped through the Iron Dome system, and was on it way towards a direct hit upon a heavily-populated area of Tel Aviv… However, out of nowhere a massive wind gusted from the east and turned the missile to a harmless landing into the sea.The military experts at the US Army’s West Point Academy won’t discuss the outcome of Israel's wars, because to them, they are too impossible, too improbable, and just do not match up with the mechanics and doctrines that guide modern warfare… Well, hearing such comments just make me laugh, because it is a REALITY that God exists and He does this for Israel!Another miracle: Hebrew is the only dead language in the world’s history that has been revived after 2,000 years. Israel was 80% barren desert after the majority of the Jewish people were exiled, and now the land is once again flourishing, just like the nation’s economy. Israel leads the world with new and amazing inventions in the fields of science, medicine and technology.I know some Jewish people who don't care to hear that they are the “apple of God’s eye” or “the Chosen People.” I can understand to some degree how that can be difficult, but I need to mention this: Dear Jewish people, you are so very special, you have been since the moment God made a covenant with your father Abraham, and when God says He is forever faithful to you, He means it! His love for you is profound and deep.Deuteronomy 33:29 "Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights.” Isaiah 62 1 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. 2 The nations will see your vindication, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will bestow.How can anyone in Israel not believe in God and in miracles? It causes me to such a thought, since there is so much proof of those miracles. The truth is, God never changes—what He did for His people as recorded in the Bible –He is still doing for them today, He will not leave or forsake them EVER.Just because we live in a world today where everything has to make sense to our satisfaction, you see the reality of faith from God that is in our hearts, which does NOT make sense in to an intellectual world that forgets God. It is one of the realities that changes you life when you simply accept it, and I have learned in my journey and walk with the God of Israel; that when you surrender to Him completely, He IS with you every single day, He is faithful to me, and He is a blessing in my life.Today, nations like Iran and Syria, and terrorist organizations such as Hamas, Hezbollah, the PLO, ISIS, Islamic Jihad as well a number of Muslims want the Jewish people to be wiped of the face of the earth. More insidiously; leaders, governments, and world bodies such as US president Obama, the EU, UN, FN, etc. all want Israel to concede its sovereignty, to give up land for so-called “peace.”It looks like the enemies of Israel today didn’t learn from the enemies of Israel in the past, you wouldn’t win now or ever, and so you just might as well give up now. Those who curse Israel shall be cursed (Genesis 12:3). No weapon that is formed against Israel shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).You should ask yourself: why is it, that down through history since Ishmael and Isaac, that Jews has been haunted, hunted and killed just for being Jews, and that is still very much the case today. Is it because they are just regular people like the rest of us, or is it because God actually did pick them out to be something very special, because His own Son was to be born as a Jew and be the Savior of this world. You must wonder… I Kings 8:52 “May your eyes be open to your servant’s plea and to the plea of your people Israel, and may you listen to them whenever they cry out to you.David Ben Gurion said: “To be living in Israel without believing in miracles is not practical.” How can I not love and stand up for this nation, the sacred and righteous root of all people, a nation of priests that would teach the world about the One True God, and show the way to eternal peace, salvation and justice?The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is my God also, and I do believe in miracles!! And I do love the Jewish people with all my heart!!
