3 Arabs arrested on Temple Mount for threatening Feiglin

Likud MK Moshe Feiglin was besieged by Arabs who taunted and threatened him with violence upon ascending the Temple Mount Tuesday morning, resulting in three arrests, police said. Feiglin, who initiated what may be the Knesset’s first hearing in February over reclaiming Jewish sovereignty of the site from the Jordanian Muslim Wakf, was uninjured during the confrontation.
The right-wing politician has a long record of altercations with Muslims there, yet regularly visits the contested site, and continues to demand that the government assert control over the area and allow greater access to members of all religions. In April of last year, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu banned Feiglin from entering the Temple Mount, citing security concerns.
