34 people from Afghanistan found inside London shipping container

UK border police are investigating an incident of a shipping container with 34 men, women and children from Afghanistan that arrived in London on Saturday French news agency AFP reported.
The container arrived at Zeebrugge seaport in Belgium by truck only half a day before the sea arrival at Tilbury Port, east of London.
The people inside are from the Sikh community of Afghanistan. When they were discovered, they were all suffering from hypothermia and severe dehydration. One person inside was dead.
All the people found were taken to local hospitals, where four are still undergoing treatment. The rest have been released and are receiving help from the British Sikh community for religious and clothing needs.
"The welfare and health of the people is our priority at this stage," said superintendent Trevor Roe, of the local Essex police.
